DMCA / Copyright Policy
Effective Date: July 9, 2026
1. Content Ownership
Movie Radar is a search engine that indexes publicly available information about where movies can be streamed or watched online. We do not host, stream, upload, or distribute any copyrighted content. All content accessed through our search results is hosted on third-party websites over which we have no control.
2. Copyright Infringement Notification
If you believe that any link indexed by Movie Radar directs users to content that infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request. Your notice must include the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The specific URL(s) on Movie Radar where the infringing link appears
- The specific third-party URL(s) that you believe contain infringing content
- Your name, company, and contact information
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Your electronic signature
Submit all DMCA notices through our contact page.
3. Action Upon Valid Notice
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the specific link(s) identified in the request. We will make a reasonable effort to notify the affected third-party site when appropriate.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
We reserve the right to permanently remove from our search index any third-party streaming site that is the subject of repeated valid copyright infringement notices. If a particular website generates multiple legitimate DMCA complaints, we may discontinue indexing that site entirely within Movie Radar search results. This policy ensures our index respects intellectual property rights and maintains quality for our users.
5. Counter-Notification
If you believe a link to your website was removed in error or due to misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the specific link(s) that were removed
- Your name, address, and contact information
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the link was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your physical or electronic signature
Submit counter-notices through our contact page.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed link in accordance with applicable law.
